What to Expect at the Holiday EQ Retreat
This weekend is designed to feel like a retreat rather than a conference. We will begin on Friday evening. Beginning at 4:00 to 8:30 PM with a relaxed welcome, an easy holiday-style meal, and activities like a floral decor demo, gifts and crafts, and a few fun ways to get ready for the season ahead. It is a low-pressure evening meant to help you settle in and start connecting with the other women.
Saturday is the heart of the workshop. After breakfast, we will move into a full day of sessions at Cyndi Kane's brand-new event venue, running from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with a built-in lunch break. Hosts Deana & Sandy walk through practical emotional intelligence tools, covering topics such as emotional self-awareness, relationship navigation, decision-making, impulse control, and protecting your peace. These are not lecture-style sessions. Expect real conversation, honest reflection, and tools you can put to use the same day. The weekend wraps up with reserved seating for dinner at the Merc, so you can close out the day with new friends before heading home.
With only 20 spaces available, this is an intimate group, so come ready to be present, participate, and leave with both practical tools and a fuller cup as you head into the holidays.

Plan on comfortable, weather-appropriate layers, since November in Pawhuska can shift from a cool morning to a milder afternoon. Comfortable shoes are a good idea too, especially if you want to walk around town or visit the Mercantile. Bring cash or a credit card for Saturday's dinner and any shopping you want to do while you are here, and if you are staying overnight, do not forget your personal items. Most of all, come ready to slow down, be present, and participate.
